Duplicate Account Names
CFO Scoreboard will likely present a "warning" about the many accounts in your balance sheet that appear to be duplicates. This could be cause for concern, or possibly not. When CFO Scoreboard encounters a same-named account within the very same sub-group (such as John Deere or Farm Credit Services) it simply adds a numeric suffix to each one (e.g. John Deere (1), John Deere (2), etc.). This is because duplicates of this sort are not technically "allowed" within CFO Scoreboard, so this is our way of accommodating such data.
The risk here is that there isn't any particular way to keep these accounts "straight" if their numbers or layouts change in future uploads. CFO Scoreboard has no way to know which John Deere is supposed to be #2, or #4, etc., except by simply scanning in sequential order from top to bottom. For this reason I might recommend some provision within the statements themselves, to help keep these all clearly distinguished. But, it isn't required.
